Francisco Hererra is a Job Captain with j.design.studio. Born and raised in San Diego, California, to Mexican immigrant parents, he grew up with a foundation of resilience, determination, and a strong work ethic. He is a proud graduate of Mission Bay High School.  He pursued his passion for architecture at New School of Architecture & Design, receiving his B.A. in Architecture. Growing up with an affection for arts, crafts, and creating buildings with Lego blocks, has led him to now pursuing his childhood dream of becoming a licensed architect in the very near future.

Francisco has been employed in the Architecture & Design industry for over 7 years. Prior to joining the j.d.s. team, he was employed by a residential home remodeling contractor firm as an Architectural Designer. While working solely on the residential side, he managed over 190 projects from start to finish which included everything from single-family home remodels to multi-family unit & ADU builds. Francisco’s attention to detail and wealth of knowledge has made him an excellent addition to j.design.studio.
