Project Designer

As a Senior Project Designer, Carla is responsible for overseeing and participating in the project process from concept to completion. Carla works closely with j.design.studio’s Principal Designer and as a team, Julissa and Carla work directly with building owners and end-users to ensure a successful project completion.

 

Carla’s experiences include projects ranging from 2,400 sf. to 62,000 sf. and include Corporate Design, Tenant Improvements, Financial Institutions, Non-Profit Organizations, Governmental and Healthcare Designs.

Carla received her certificate of Interior Design and completed additional Honor Courses from Mesa College and has successfully been a Designer in San Diego’s Interior Design Industry for over 25 years. Carla’s involvement with IIDA (International Interior Design Association) included numerous committees’ participation and the student liaison program. Carla’s participation with IIDA earned her an IIDA Volunteer of the Year Award.

 

Carla’s broad depth of experience, knowledge, diverse background and project involvement allows her to successfully apply her capabilities to the unique requirements of each project.
